Looking Glass Glimpses - premiered on March 20 and 21, 2009. This original production is sure to spark your imagination! Student dancers from Bainbridge Island, Renton, and Seattle alongside some of Seattle's finest contemporary dancers, execute a dramatic retelling of a fantastic childhood story through vignettes of theatre, dance, original and recorded music, and bold conceptual sculptural art. Each imaginative scene will leave you wanting more - from dream-like modern, jazz, and butoh dances to funky hip hop, dazzling contemporary ballet, and startling theatrical interludes. July 2010: Peter and the Wolf, an urban, abstract, and fantasy dance and theatrical interpretation of the classic story using pieces of the original music by Prokofiev, combined with current music, to weave our own dark and twisted tale, while keeping the whimsy and charm of the original story intact. Tickets go on sale May 1, 2010. Performances are in July 2010 in Leavenworth, WA..
